ANANYANA RESORT

Picture

RESERVE NOW

Ananyana Beach Resort, a new name, an exciting and fascinating resort situated along the beautiful white sand of Doljo Beach

THE ANANYANA is a synthesis of safety and longing, of wanderlust and home. Bohemian bathrooms as well as purist appearing premises create the perfect aura for a vacation abounding in an otherwise rather rare condition: Carefree relaxation.

Stylish comfort instead of elitist luxury. That is the difference between the ANANYANA and the other beach resorts. With only eight suite rooms and two family suites, the deliberately limited size of the ANANYANA creates an almost intimate atmosphere. Though the amount of space is anything but limited.

All suites are spaciously arranged. The unique family suites cover two floors and include a fascinating semi-open bathroom. King size beds and an ultramodern, extra-silent air conditioning system ensure a quiet refreshing sleep. And each morning the visitor is greeted with a breathtaking view from the balcony or patio of the impressive vegetation and the crystal clear ocean.

All the visitor will be submerged in a sea of living charm and authentic aesthetics. You don’t see things – you breathe them. You don’t forget time – you dream it away. You don’t use your senses – you feel them. Here you live and experience things more intensely.

Amarela Resort

Amarela Resort

RESERVE NOW

Amarela is not just a beautiful beach resort, it is also a showcase of Bohol’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.
This resort is a premium boutique resort along the longest stretch of white beach in Panglao Island, Bohol. Built on top of a gentle slope with easy access to the shore, it commands a stunning view of Bohol Sea and neighboring islands.

It’s highlights massive turn-of-the-century wooden doors, old hardwood floors, handcrafted lattice, antique furniture & artifacts as well as outstanding local sculpture, basketry and paintings. With modern conveniences such as air-conditioning, satellite television and internet access, Amarela strikes a delightful balance between the old and the new.

See Bohol in a new light. See Amarela Resort in Bohol and fall in love with it. See Bohol as idyllic and luxurious as it is full of adventure. And see the face you love light up with the sun and the sea of Amarela Resort. The perfect bucket and spade holiday only here at the Bohol resort of Amarela.

This small new resort on Panglao Island is perfect for anyone who wants a quite getaway. The main building is on the top of a hill and seems like a home that’s been converted to house the dining room as well as four suites upstairs. The suites are located on the second floor like the bedrooms of a house, with a reading corner and a lending library in the centre. The first floor is mostly the dining room with a balcony along one side, overlooking the beach and pool below.

The room I stayed in was along the second building (the two are connected from the dining room). This building was more like a regular resort with all the rooms having an ocean view. Our room was a good size and clean. Beautiful bathroom as well with both a tub and shower.

The pool was a bit on the small side but pretty cool as the overflow water would go over the side, making it look like an infinity pool. I think the resort is expanding which might make the pool more crowded but I’m not sure. The beach is down the hill along stone steps. Though the beach isn’t huge, it’s a good size for this size resort. They offer a few watersports but I’m not sure which exactly.

Tips for your Bohol travel plan

1. At a regulated price, there are available 6-7 hr day-tour package offered by local travel/ tour agency that includes a van /cab with driver (driver acts as the group guide too) with stops at Sandugo shrine, Baclayon Church and Museum, photo ops at souvenir shops with Tarsiers and the Chocolate Hills in the town of Carmen. It will pass by the thick man-made mahogany forest in Loboc-Bilar boundary and on the way back, van/cab will stop near Loboc Church ( home of the world’s famous Loboc Children’s Choir- oh so heavenly!) for lunch on a Loboc river Cruise ( lunch is not included in the package). Another popular site is the Chocolate Hills in Sagbayan otherwise called the Sagbayan Peak, for an additional fee you can negotiate with your guide/driver to add Sagbayan Peak in your package. The van/cab will pick and drop you at your Tagbilaran Hotel at no extra cost, additional charge will be collected for pickup/drop off elsewhere.

2.Tagbilaran City is a good base if time is a constraint otherwise stay in Panglao Island where you can either bask in the pristine beaches and snorkel its waters or explore the caves and sinkholes in Panglao’s karst environment.

3.Other Bohol tourist sites are scattered throughout the countryside, rent a cab or ride a bus that goes around the island and you’ll be amaze with what you’ll see and experience.

4.The best time to visit and enjoy Bohol is during the summer months (April and May) but over the years many came and never left.
