You have to exert extra efforts to visit the place but it’s worth the trip. Getting there, we took the habal-habal. After passing through a stony and dusty path, we were able to reach BBF, which was good since hunger is setting in. My friend and I ordered Grilled Tanigue and Grilled Squid with brown rice and organic salad (consisting of cultured lettuce and flowers which I think was gumamela) plus our own choice of fruit shake. Likewise added to our meal was ‘sinigang na hipon’… Yummy!! We were surprised to be served with complimentary ‘camote’ bread with three different spreads — mango, honey and pesto. All of which tasted exceptional, we couldn’t help but buy those loaves and spreads on our way back to the hostel. After eating, you would want to check out the seaview or take pictures from their massage area or scan their gift shop for pasalubong.

The food at Isis Bungalows restaurant, ‘Isis Restaurant’ was excellent. The chef is from Thailand (a lady) who works in the evenings and treains her staff to cook authentic Thai food. I had the red curry with rice. It was excellent. My whole family liked it, even my Mother-in- Law, who rarely eats any foreign food. |
